First and foremost, let me say this hotel is amazing. The staff is incredibly nice and the whole building is beautiful. Now to the haunt. The first night was the oddest. It could have been the elevator, but I honestly can't say. When I was walking through the corridor to the parking lot with my husband, I couldn't stand and it just felt like I wasn't in my body correctly. I couldn't stop shaking and I just got super dizzy. I also had chill bumps for no reason. Later that night, I went to the bathroom in my room while everyone else was asleep. The bathroom door just randomly opened as if someone was seeing if the bathroom was occupied then quickly shut the door. The lights dimmed a bit, but nothing else happened that night. Then on the last night, my husband and I kept hearing an older man snoring. We were in 412, so it was a corner suite and my dad was with us, but this wasn't him. None of these events seemed harmful or anything, but definitely out of the ordinary.

I had never experienced any paranormal activity until I went to New Orleans. We stayed in room 404 and something kept turning on the TV in the middle of the night, one time and another. Also the motion sensor in the bathroom turned on without being anyone in there. My husband saw a man that I wasn't able to see, inside the bar (which was closed). Some days after, we asked at what time did the bar opened and the reception guy told us it was temporary closed as the owner had recently passed away.

My friend and I stayed at the hotel in 2016 and she saw a tiny Creole woman in old clothes standing under the large painting in the Foyer. She was looking up at a man on a boat being rowed by a boy, and a black cat. My friend got coffee by the door and when she looked back the woman was gone. No one had seen her but my friend. Turns out, the Miser in the painting was the builder of the 5 houses, and owner of the space now a hotel. Which once burned down killing several creole workers, he was known as cheap, hence the boat painting based on a story that he was too cheap to pay for the Ferry. That Hotel is haunted by a very real story and many ghosts, and it all can be verified. We had no prior knowledge.

We stayed with my husband in big corner room with long balcony. Second night he waked up in the middle of the night and noticed someting in the pillow, but turn it other side and sleeped again. In the morning we noticed big blood mark in the pillow, but my husbands face is clear and without any marks of blood.

pinned to the bed
was pinned on my back twice in approx 30 minutes by a dark grey apparition. It happened as soon as my wife left the room. Initially I felt the weight on my legs and when i sat up it threw me back and I was helpless. I managed to free an arm and throw it off.It returned 5 mins later and did the same again. Never ever believed in ghosts until now

Haunted
My husband and I stayed in room 119. One wall is mirrored from floor to ceiling. The day we checked in, we changed into our swimsuits to lay by the pool for awhile. The room looked immaculate. Very clean, nothing on the mirror by way of handprints, etc. After a few hours by the pool, we came back to our room and there were handprints all over the bottom part of the mirror about 2-3 feet off the ground. The handprints were small.
